Announcement Information Applicants should have at least 12 months of automotive experience in basic automotive repair & maintenance, i.e., oil changes, brake repairs, charging systems, tire repair along with have a valid driver's license. General Summary Under close supervision, performs entry-level routine manual tasks involved in servicing County owned vehicles in a central service garage. Assists in lubricating, changing oil, refueling, repairing, and replacing tires, and cleaning of County vehicles. May be scheduled for a day, afternoon, or midnight shift, including weekends and holidays. Required Minimum Qualifications At the time of application, applicants must: 1. Have passed their 18th birthday; OR be at least 16 years old and a high school graduate; OR have completed the state requirements for the General Educational Development Test (GED); OR be an emancipated minor. 2. Must possess a valid driver's license Special Requirements 1. Must maintain a valid United States motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur's license (for positions which require driving). Pay Range USD $16.07 - USD $21.74 /Hr.
