General Labor - Champion Personnel System : Job Details

Position Overview:We are looking for a General Laborer to assist in various warehouse and customer service tasks at a busy metal supply company. The role involves helping the saw operator, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, greeting customers, loading vehicles, and making local deliveries. This is a contract-to-hire position with room for growth and training.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the saw operator and learn to operate a band saw
• Measure and cut materials; must be comfortable reading a tape measure
• Perform general warehouse cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment)
• Greet customers and load their vehicles with products
• Occasionally make local deliveries (valid driver's license required)
• Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Some prior warehouse experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a small shop environment
• Steel-toe boots required; safety glasses, gloves, and masks provided
