Laborer BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K AHF Products has an exciting career opportunity for a General Laborer to be located at our Sawmill in Norton, WV. Reporting to the site manager, the General Laborer will be responsible for keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill. If you are dependable and would like to be part of a team that leans on one another, we have just the position for you. Sawmill laborers generally start on the Green Chain stacking lumber as it comes out of the mill. Once trained, opportunities to cross-train for other positions will occur based on mill needs JOB DUTIES: Physically handle lumber by pulling from chain and placing in appropriate pack. Use crosscut saw to cut off bad ends. Band finished packs. Responsible for completing clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned areas. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
