Food Production - General Labor PR 01 - Processing Packer Full-Time Starting pay: $16.50/ HR (with $1.50/ HR shift premium for 2nd shift positions) Packers perform the final packaging of sausage chubs and slicks. During packaging, packers visually inspect product for defects and remove defective products from the line. Finished packaged product is palletized per specification. RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of product codes and descriptions including case pack configurations. Visually inspect packages for defects in size or quality and removing defective product from the line. Pack off finished cases on to pallets in proper tie and high configuration. Keep work area clean and tidy during production. At end of shift perform machine wipe down and cover motors with protective plastic. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JS - As). Other duties as assigned. Act as key trainer for on-the-job training to new team members.
