GENERAL LABORER - 7 - ITT : Job Details

ITT Goulds Pumps has an opening for a General Laborer in Seneca Falls, NY. The General Laborer will perform a variety of duties throughout the departments of Receiving, Shipping, Stockroom, or other work as assigned. This is a second shift position and the hours are 3:30 pm-12:00 am. Essential Responsibilities Follow relevant work instructions and/or SOP. May be required to operate industrial trucks (fork trucks, lift trucks, etc.)Examine product for wear or defects, and compare with records such as invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies. Report discrepancies to supervisor. Prepare documents such as packing lists, work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
