**Job Title: Field Technician**
**Job Description:**
Individuals will be the hands on labor for collecting Non-Hazardous material(Oil, Paint) in the field. This will be a labor intensive job consisting of cleaning out tanks, pressure washing(less than 2500psi), preparing waste for proper disposal and responding to emergency spills. He/she will also be responsible for loading and unloading heavy storage drums. All this will include getting material/tools ready every morning for the work they will be performed for the day. At the end of the day there may be some cleaning of company equipment/tools.
+ Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
+ Prepares necessary supplies, tools and other equipment for transport to worksite.
+ Cleans and scrapes the inside of and assists with removal of underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal.
+ Provides labor for demolition of contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press operation equipment.
+ Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects.
+ Decontaminates company equipment and tools.
+ May load, unload and sample drums; Respond to emergency spills
**Qualifications**
+ Must have a valid drivers license
+ Ability to lift over 60lbs
+ Previous experience working in extreme weather conditions
+ This position is not suitable for those who are not comfortable getting dirty or engaging in intense manual labor
**Job Type**
+ This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1040 Hour(s), roughly 6 months.

**Hours & Pay**
+ Typically from 7am - 3:30pm, however hours can shift depending on client needs and emergencies
+ **$18/hour**

+ This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
**Work Environment**
+ This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana, involving both indoor and outdoor work.
+ The role includes visiting various clients around Central Indiana and may require light travel, including occasional overnight stays (20% of the time).
+ Work is year-round and will expose you to extreme weather conditions.
+ Steel Toe Boots and company-issued uniforms are part of the required dress code.
