SUMMARY Perform various project-based job duties including but not limited to receiving, inventory control, pick/packing, kitting, and shipping in a Distribution Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Participate directly in the production of goods (e.g., move items from one production station to another or place them on or remove them from the production process). Stock inventory. Count or route merchandise. Load and unload shipments. Janitorial services. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED. Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Ability to work well with others. Must be able to follow directions. WORK SCHEDULE Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in a maintenance facility/light manufacturing setting. Employee often exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position consists of standing/walking for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers and scissors/knives.
