Job Description :
Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with Maintenance Manager and Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
  • Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
  • Work on assigned projects
  • Fabricate and install new equipment
  • Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Utilize safe work habits
  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical, Building Maintenance, Machine Maintenance, Plumbing, etc.
  • Experience with Measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools is required
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
