General Maintenance Worker - LADGOV CORPORATION : Job Details

Job Title: General Maintenance WorkerBased at: Altus Air Force Base, OklahomaRequirements: The candidate must meet the following requirements:Worker Requirements and Qualifications:•High school diploma or equivalent.•Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.•Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.•Possess communication and fluent in English language with day to day duties, and professionalism.Specific Tasks:•Perform repairs, such as repairing broken locks, damage to dry-walls to include painting & replacement. •Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and ballasts.•Perform installations, assembling/disassembling, and removal of furniture.•Maintain grounds, including garden trimming, and collecting trash.•Mounting/hanging of items such as dry erase boards, bulletin boards, and frames.•Perform basic plumbing and electrical work in accordance with plumbing and electrical standards (NFPA/NEC). •Replace floor tiles, carpet tiles, and ceiling tiles.•Report to Facility Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. •Maintain clean, safe and organized work area to include but not limited to dusting, mopping, and trash removal. •Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working order.
