At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core General Maintenance Worker Skills & Responsibilities.Responsibilities:* Accountable and responsible for various mechanical and general maintenance and repair.* Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate care.* Adheres to the Washington Performance System, and complies with all external regulatory and accrediting bodies while ensuring safety of patients/families, visitors, and staff.* Adheres to all established HIPAA rules and regulations.* Approaches and solves problems while considering all relevant facts to the issue with an outcome of a timely, good decision.* Scope of decision making is limited and relates to the completion of assigned work tasks.* Documents care/work following established standards, mechanisms, and protocols of Washington Health System.Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30AM. - 4PM. Must be able to work other shifts/days, if needed at times.Internal Posting: 10/31/24-11/7/24Qualifications:Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.* Four (4) years experience as a General Maintenance Repairman (gas and electric welding, general electrical repairs, mechanical repairs) or two (2) years experience with a diploma in Building Maintenance (or related field) from a recognized trade school.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:* Valid drivers license required without any Tier D Violations during most recent time period specified by Washington Health Systems automobile insurance carrier.* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)* Driver's License* Act 33, 34, 73UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
