Will act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure that the location is fully compliant with all contractual requirements.Location: traveling to MTM Transit locations all over the US as needed.What you'll do:Division Implementation Organize and coordinate all activities required for successful division implementation (staffing, administration, safety, maintenance, and training)Interface with client, local leadership team, and support teamEnsure proper staffing and trainingContractual complianceEnsure Service excellence day one (1) of divisions operationFloating coverage Provide General Manager support and accomplishment of duties as required at an assigned division for a period of time until a permanent General Manager can be hiredVisit and provide guidance, best practices, and operations assistance to divisions that are in need of additional supportProvide support to an assigned division to improve service performance, client relations, financial resultsSpecial Projects Assist COO with process improvement projects and company rollout of initiativesMaintain visibility into all planned and ongoing projects, and ensures that the impacts of these activities on the business organization are communicated to the appropriate business stakeholders in a timely mannerMaintain a thorough knowledge of MTM Transit departments and compliance programsServe as an operational subject matter expert for Trapeze, Reveal, Eco Lane, and other routing, scheduling, dispatching, and reporting toolsProvide support for questions or concerns that arise regarding MTM Transit, and addressing these in an appropriate, timely mannerDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of ridership policies to ensure smooth transportation servicesMaintain a “Safety First” attitude with the Client and all staff membersAct as a liaison between MTM Transit and the Client to address any concerns or issues that may arise and do so in a timely mannerWhat you'll need:Experience, Education & Certifications:Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field3+ years of experience in transit management with expertise in Fixed Route from larger systemsPrevious management experience in the Para-Transit or livery industriesPrevious experience working with senior citizens or persons with disabilitiesExperience establishing key processes and proceduresProven experience in operations and management of staffProven experience supervising and monitoring the delivery of contractual servicesThorough knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulationsMust possess a valid current driver's licenseAbility to travel to locations and stay for extended period of time as neededMay be required to drive a company or rental vehicle (failure to pass an annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background screen may result in termination of employment)Skills:Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positionsRequired to have capabilities as it relates to data analyticsAbility to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM Transit operations, company policies, and guidelinesExtensive knowledge of Trapeze transit routing systemExtensive analytical and proven data collection methodsExceptional interpretation and problem-solving skillsAbility to schedule, organize and prioritize multiple tasksExtensive knowledge of budget and cost analysisAbility to evaluate and resolve problems and issues in a constructive mannerModerate to advanced computer skillsAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityMonitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidanceRegular attendance is requiredEven better if you have...Prior contract and or project management experience preferredWhat's in it for you:Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternity/Paternity LeaveCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount ProgramLeadership Mentoring OpportunitiesMinimum Salary: $76,960/annuallyMaximum Salary: $113,400/annuallyThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
