Working in leisure is anything but leisurely especially at Halo - an award-winning social enterprise and local registered charity, leading leisure trust operating 25 facilities across Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Gloucestershire, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire and Wiltshire. We are on the lookout for a high energy General Manager, inspired by a fast-paced performance driven culture.

Both centres are located in and around the city of Gloucester, with very different demographics and local community needs within 7 miles of each other.

Each centre has received circa £500K of capital investment within the last 24 months, creating beautiful purpose-built gym facilities, so there is plenty to get your teeth into at these sites to help continue the positive growth path this centre is enjoying.

The centres both have a vibrant swimming lesson programme, with ample opportunity to continue to grow this part of the product offer.

Due to the proximity on the school site, you can also develop your relationship management skills with local education professionals for mutual gain.

You will be a key player in the future of this centre and the opportunity to get involved in projects outside your centre to support your personal development and the growth and success of the organisation.

You will need some supervisory or duty management experience, earned in a customer-facing environment, an ambitious streak and a willingness to learn and mature on the job. This is a great career stepping stone role into Area Management for the future.

Contract: Permanent.

Salary: £35,659.82 per annum.
