JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManaging budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditureMaintaining statistical and financial recordsSetting and achieving sales and profit targetsRecruiting, training, and monitoring staffPlanning work schedules for individuals and teamsMeeting and greeting customersDealing with customer complaints and commentsAddressing problems and troubleshootingEnsuring events and conferences run smoothlySupervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishingsDealing with contractors and suppliersEnsuring security is effectiveCarrying out inspections of property and servicesEnsuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulationsAct as a storyteller for our brand, our hotel, and its décorWork with colleagues to deliver inspirational serviceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a similar size and type of hotelBachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDemonstrated ability to lead a teamExcellent attention to detailFinancial savvyProficient in Microsoft Office productsBENEFITS/ PERKS
