Standard Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations and sales of our organization. They will work closely with the various departments to ensure efficient processes and procedures are in place to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage and work with the sales team in meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Manage and work with the engineering team in meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Manage and work with the project management team in meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Manage and optimize key operational processes such as supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to support operational objectives.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and develop a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to achieve cross-functional goals.
  • Handle any issues or challenges that arise in the course of operations, providing timely resolutions.
  • Manage and be responsible for the P&L.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in operations, general management, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and other operational software tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
