• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes, aligning with organizational goals and KPIs.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Drive the safety program for the site ensuring safe operating practices and high safety awareness amongst employees
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce production scrap.
• Develop training programs for team members to ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
• Evaluate staffing levels and work schedules to optimize resource utilization.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to build a strong, motivated workforce.
• Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly to minimize disruptions to business activities and ensure on time delivery to customers.

The Successful ApplicantThe successful General Manager will have the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen).
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, and supply chain management.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments.
• Proficiency in using operations management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs.
