About Fancy Baby: Fancy Baby is a new Champagne-focused wine and Listening bar in the vibrant Pearl District. We are a destination for those who appreciate the finer things in life—a perfect blend of world-class Champagne, a diverse and well-curated wine program, and curated music that sets the mood.

Position Overview: We seek a dynamic and passionate General Manager to lead our team and bring the Fancy Baby vision to life. This role is ideal for someone with a deep love and knowledge of wine, especially Champagne, paired with a strong background in hospitality management. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, cultivate a memorable guest experience, and lead a team dedicated to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, train, and inspire a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service.
  • Curate a distinguished wine list and work closely with our Owner and local distributors to maintain a diverse and exceptional selection of wines.
  • Create and implement unique guest experiences that align with the ethos of Fancy Baby.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the bar, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control.
  • Maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that reflects the unique culture of Fancy Baby.
  • Engage with guests to ensure their experience exceeds expectations and build lasting relationships.
    • Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, with a strong emphasis on Champagne.
  • Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a high-end or specialty bar environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Passionate about creating unique and memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
