We provide engineered pumping solutions to our customers' applications in Water and Oil & Gas markets.The General Manager is responsible for leading this $86MM business and will provide strategic, commercial, operational, and technical leadership to grow the business. With two sites (one in Rochester, NY and one in Punta Gorda, FL), Pulsafeeder has approximately 150 employees.Reporting Relationships:The Pulsafeeder General Manager will report directly to the Intelligent Water Platform President. This role's direct reports will include leaders of HR, Sales, Operations, and Engineering. The Finance leader will report functionally to the Platform Finance leader with dotted line reporting to the General Manager.Responsibilities:Provide strategic, commercial, and technical leadership to the Pulsafeeder business.Determine the long-term strategy to continue strategic growth in focused end markets (Industrial Water, Municipal Water, and Wastewater Treatment).Drive the achievement of sustainable revenue growth while maintaining profit margins and building a culture of continuous improvement.Focus on customer obsession, building great global teams, diversity, equity, and inclusion.Full Profit/Loss responsibility for a $86MM business.Develop a business strategy that facilitates strategic innovation in the core growth market.Increase revenue from $86MM to $110MM by 2027 to achieve the Intelligent Water platform growth goal.Create and sustain a high-performance culture that works together to make decisions, integrate new ideas, and deliver experiences and products that delight our customers.Focus on increasing the development of new products that further the company's ability to win and enhance the platform's ability to respond to customer needs rapidly.Build strong customer and partnership relationships to ensure we maintain market share or sole source position with competitive threats.Lead key IDEX operating model tools such as Goal Deployment and Daily Management to support execution of strategic and tactical objectives.Build a 10-year New Product roadmap to meet the needs of target end markets.Build a bridge for IoT connected products and platform software strategy.Key Characteristics:Engaging leaders to drive a culture of innovation and critical thinking.High impact communicator: Ability to collect complex or diverse information and make it clear to the target audience.Demonstrates a level of Business & Financial Acumen to provide thoughtful solutions that not only solve a problem but also provide value and efficiencies to the organization.Manages change and is adaptable with the ability to shift gears comfortably.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving results and solutions in a complex and evolving industry landscape.Demonstrated ability to handle risk and uncertainty in a timely manner.Assesses strengths and weaknesses in self and others to build high-performing teams and implement talent development road map as part of business strategy.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals and sustainability objectives into technology solutions and initiatives.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and driving positive change.Demonstrated ability to increase employee engagement and leverage human capital to win.Requirements:Bachelor's degree required (Engineering / Technical field preferred); MBA preferred.Successful track record of General Management and/or Leadership experience in Water industry preferred.Experience in Industrial Water, Municipal Water, and Wastewater Treatment markets.Experience with Export Controlled Products (Trade Compliance).Global business experience, specifically in India preferred.Experience with implementing LEAN and/or Six Sigma tools; LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.Track record as an agent of change, who has established customer-centric and engineering minded technical teams.Excellent communication, relationship building, and leadership skills.Ability to travel domestically & internationally as required.Total Rewards:The compensation range for this position is $192,900.00 - $289,300.00, depending on experience.
