Job Description:The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our countertop business operations. From managing daily activities to setting strategic goals. The candidate will be instrumental in driving growth, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the countertop business unit, including sales, production, and installation teams.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and quality control procedures to meet demand and maintain high standards.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost-control measures to maximize profitability and ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage customer service issues as they relate to service, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Assist sales staff with scheduling information.
  • Other duties as assigned by COO or other senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the countertop or related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and finance principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software.
  • Experience with countertop materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels, inside and outside of the organization.
  • Strong customer service skills.
