We work with a variety of incredible DC restaurants ranging from award winning Michelin Star businesses to hot new openings. We are looking for talented General Managers with a genuine love for food and hospitality, with a desire to lead their front-of-house operations and contribute to the success of the restaurant.

In any of these roles, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining the highest standards of service, and fostering a positive work environment.

General Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience
  • Responsible for maintaining health department regulations, training, and employee development.
  • Deep knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence. Solid floor experience
  • Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional customer service skills required
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills required
  • Available and able to work all shifts in the restaurant as scheduled to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while leading the team and serving guests.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to help keep all team members informed of business changes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling
  • Work closely with other Food and Beverage supervisors to ensure operations, food preparation, service, and other back-of-house and front-of-house needs are run efficiently and meet both financial and quality objectives.
  • Incorporate core values and mission into their daily management structure and execution.
  • Monitor and maintain budgetary controls, including labor and food costs.
  • Oversee inventory management and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
