General Manager –(Restaurant & Event Venue)

Job Overview:

As the General Manager, you will lead a team of staff members across the venue. You will ensure that all aspects of the venue are running smoothly, managing the budget, monitoring financial performance, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will develop and implement long-term strategies to drive growth and enhance the guest experience. This may include facilitating in marketing campaigns, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for expansion and diversification. General Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the overall operations of the venue, including all departments such as front of house, back of house, & sales.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability and improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Hiring, training, developing, and supervising staff members across all departments, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
  • Work seamlessly with the property owner to ensure a strong and productive partnership, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service. Effective communication with both the company owner and location property owner is essential to the success of this position.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, including revenue and expenses, to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to health and safety, employment, and environmental standards.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure high-quality goods and services are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase visibility and drive revenue growth.
  • Managing the budget and ensuring that all expenses are within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensuring that the property is well-maintained and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • · Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • · Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Perform other Duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
