As a General Manager at Broken Yolk Cafe, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant. Your responsibilities would typically include:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the restaurant team, including hiring, training, and managing staff. Set clear expectations and motivate employees to deliver exceptional service.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, food preparation, service, cleanliness, and overall customer experience. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgetary concerns, including labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses. Implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Customer Service: Uphold the highest standards of customer service. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Menu Development and Quality Control: Work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain the quality of food offerings. Collaborate on menu development, incorporating customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently. Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Utilize social media, promotions, and community events to increase visibility and drive sales.
