Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of Seaway Scaffold, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and meet lofty standards for safety and quality.
- Strategize and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce costs without compromising service quality.
- Foster an inclusive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning among all employees.
- Establish clear communication channels within the organization to facilitate seamless coordination between different departments.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train staff
- discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all areas of operations, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure objectives are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts that benefit Seaway Scaffold both in terms of cost and supply reliability.
- Analyze market trends and adjust operational strategies accordingly to ensure Seaway Scaffold remains competitive in the industry.
- Lead review of the company safety program and implement a training program for all staff, focusing on safety protocols, equipment handling, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- At least 7-10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
- Possess an understanding of the scaffolding industry, including knowledge of diverse types of scaffolding systems and their applications.
- Experience in overseeing operational processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective while keeping safety standards at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team towards achieving organizational goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Avontus Scaffold Designer.
- Knowledge of all relevant laws and regulations related to our operations, including labor laws and health and safety standards.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in administration, Logistic, Engineering or Other industry-related field required.
- 7-10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
