General Manager - BPS Telephone Company : Job Details

BPS Telephone, located in Bernie, Missouri, is looking for their next General Manager.

Serving three counties in Southeast Missouri, BPS began operations almost 30 years ago. This multi-family-owned rural provider believes in investing in technologies and is proud to be a part of the local communities. BPS boasts a nearly 100% fiber buildout in their regulated exchanges and offers broadband and landline services.

This key position will report to the officer(s) and/or Directors of the company, is responsible for providing general oversight and management of the business operations and will participate in establishing the overall corporate mission and strategy.

Ideal candidate will be growth oriented, open-minded, willing to take calculated risks, and experienced in building and engaging a team. Applicant should have a thorough understanding of the competitive, regulatory and technical issues affecting the telecommunications industry. Additionally, a four-year degree in business or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience preferred.

Southeast Missouri State University, seasonal festivals, farmers markets and live entertainment are all within an hour of Bernie. It is a great area to raise a family where excellent school systems, quality of life and down-to-earth neighbors abound.
