Sag Harbor Tavern, the first sister restaurant of Red Hook Tavern, brings classic American tavern fare to the beautiful waterfront village of Sag Harbor, NY. We aim to recreate the warmth, hospitality, and atmosphere of our original location while celebrating the fresh, local seafood of Long Island's coast.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to join our dynamic and compassionate team. This individual will work closely with the Executive Chef and lead a strong team of service professionals to create an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to prepare and motivate the team.
- Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and deliveries to ensure top-quality offerings.
- Lead and oversee the bar program, including wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Actively sell and retrieve wine during service to enhance guest experiences.
- Provide direct support to the host and service teams as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to foster repeat business.
- Enforce company policies and service protocols to maintain high standards.
- Generate nightly reports to track performance and operational needs.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage.
- Train new team members, ensuring they meet the restaurant's expectations.
- Oversee DOH inspection preparation to maintain health and safety compliance.
- Process credit card and cash payments accurately and securely.
