As a General Manager (GM), you get the opportunity to work across and represent all Hertz Global Brands including providing overall leadership in the areas of safety, operating performance, customer satisfaction, positive employee culture, customer service, budgets, and vendor relations.
As the General Manager, you will have responsibility for a local site and multiple locations/brands including Dollar and Thrifty. The GM is responsible for having in-depth knowledge of all operations, management, logistics, technology, financial disciplines, and the site's performance against metrics/standards including the management of customer service evaluation. The leader must have a proven track record of growing the business and for decisive actions backed by strategic and analytical thinking, goal-directed leadership, and service-oriented performance. As the GM, you will deliver results through active leadership, direction, alignment, and motivation of all employees while focusing on the development and implementation of location strategies to maximize profitability and revenue management.
One of your primary missions is the development of talent at all designated sites including the coaching and mentoring of the management team as they develop their employees. Additionally, the GM will drive for the continuous improvement of local site operations and work with senior leadership across Hertz to make sure that sufficient resources are available for the smooth operation of designated locations.
