Our client is a start-up compounding pharmacy in Little Rock, AR. Bring your expertise in pharmacy operations including but not limited to: sterile & non-sterile compounding, drug procurement & inventory management, drug diversion prevention, pharmaceutical waste, fiscal accountability, and scheduling/staffing & productivity and be an integral part of this growing organization.Summary of Responsibilities:Provide direction and overall ownership for Sales, Product Development, Operations, Quality, Finance and HR.Maintain current culture focused on innovation, profitable growth, and market share gains while driving the culture to consistently set a high bar with stretch goals, metrics, and objectives.•Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive strategy to optimize current offerings while positioning for future growth including market share gains with existing influencers and product development and effective share gain strategy development with end users and through distribution channels.•Communicate vision to organization to ensure employee engagement and clear understanding of direction.•Direct the development and transformation of strategic sales, product management, product development, sales and marketing, and distribution plans to achieve and surpass sales and profit objectives.•Serve as a talent magnet, able to attract and retain outstanding performers to the organization. Develop effective and ongoing associate development and training opportunities to help attract and retain high potential talent and build a high performing team. •Foster an environment of employee engagement by embracing continuous improvement.•Ensure compliance with all government, regulatory, financial, environmental, safety, and labor regulations as required.Keys to this opportunity:•4-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required. MBA preferred.•5+ years of experience at the GM level in acute care pharmacy is a plus. •Strong process orientation with the ability to direct and lead cross-functional teams. •Demonstrated experience successfully growing a business organically and leading significant commercial and operational transformations in a customer driven growth culture. •Entrepreneurial instincts and orientation with the desire to build and grow an organization. Previous experience in small to mid-sized businesses with evolving resources preferred.•Record of reducing costs, eliminating non-value add activities, and improving profitability while growing a business through operational performance.•Experience in differentiating through innovation, outstanding customer service, and operational excellence while leading and motivating commercial teams and establishing a strong collaborative environment between sales and operations.•Strong understanding and comfort level with financials. Proven knowledge of financial concepts and techniques utilized to manage the day-to-day business and establish value propositions of operational, commercial, and structural changes.•Experience with CRM software, advanced Excel and MS Office skills, data focused with strong data analytics skills.•Positive attitude with high integrity and a results-driven leadership approach that gathers input and fosters collaboration, manages performance, develops people, and utilizes systematic processes to achieve objectives. Record of successful development and management of high performing talent. •New product development (NPD/NPI) and value proposition development experience with a record of increasing sales volume.•Internal and external relationship builder with a relentless customer focus. Outstanding verbal and written communication and ability to learn quickly.•Strategic thinker, able to make decisions for the long term and execute to ensure current growth, operational excellence, profitability, and cash flow targets are met.
