General Partner and/or a Principal - True Global Ventures : Job Details

At True Global Ventures, we back serial entrepreneurs driving transformative innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain technologies across North America, Europe and Asia.

Our latest early stage fund (TGV Fund 4) is a 113M USD fund and our opportunity fund (TGV Fund 5) is a 166M USD fund.

- Blockchain companies we have invested into includes: The Sandbox, Animoca Brands, Ledger

- AI companies we have invested into includes: Prezent AI, Obligo, Validation Cloud, Jus Mundi, Tookitaki, Coding Giants

We are not chasing to be the largest AUM fund but our goal is to continue to be in the top 3 percentile performance of VC funds!

Now, as we set up our next early stage fund, we are looking for 1 or 2 U.S. Bay Area roles as an addition to our team.

More specifically, we are looking for 1 or 2 new team members who are Bay Area based with a global perspective! We value grit and entrepreneurial spirit, teammates who are not afraid to go the extra mile and work hard. We also value diversity.

General Partner

• We are looking for a Solo GP who wants to team up with us in complementary networks and expertise.
• We pride ourselves for our GP commit to the fund and are looking for a GP who is excited to have skin in the game above the average GP commit.
• We are also potentially offering the GP exposure and incentives to previous funds.
• Strong deal sourcing who can lead deals especially in the Bay Area
• Strong LP relationships especially in the U.S.
• Expansive co-investors and B2B network to value-add to portfolio companies

Principal

• We are looking for a Principal who is hungry for an experience to work alongside seasoned investors and entrepreneurs
• Interested to have skin in the game and ownership in a fund
• Have started to lead/co-lead on deals and growing network of deal sourcing
• Have growing LP relationships especially in the U.S.
• Operational experience in supporting portfolio companies in value-adding activities
