General Labor - Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $18.50 per hour on first shift
• First Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• Benefits: Health insurance, vision, dental, and paid vacation

General Labor - Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor punch presses, multi-slides, and molding presses in accordance with ISO 13485 work instructions
• Perform secondary operations such as passivation, forming, welding, assembly, riveting, and custom packaging
• Inspect parts using gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes to ensure quality standards
• Report any quality concerns to Quality Assurance for review and disposition
• Handle and thread material as needed
• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and report concerns to the setup technician or production coordinator
• Document production data and track labor activities
• Perform Statistical Process Control charting when required
• Package products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

General Labor - QualificationsEducation and Experience

• High school diploma or willingness to obtain a GED
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

Skills and Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators is a plus
• Willingness to learn ISO 13485 processes and Statistical Process Control
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekends
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
• Moderate physical exertion, including frequent lifting of 10 pounds, occasional lifting of 25 pounds, and periodic lifting of up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, push, and pull objects as required
• Clear verbal communication, hearing ability, and vision or reasonable accommodations
• Ability to move safely and effectively throughout the facility and interact with employees
