Job Title: General Production Worker-1st ShiftJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking production workers for the 1st shift from 6am to 4-5pm for a straight 8-hour shift, with the option to work up to 12-hour shifts if desired, Monday through Friday. Our facility produces pre-made dinners and soups for Trader Joe's. Candidates will be responsible for placing pastries into round plastic containers, sealing them with plastic lids. This task can take a toll on the fingertips over time. Candidates do not need to interview but must pass a drug test (5-panel standard) and a background check, with a waiver in place.Hard SkillsLaborerProductionPackingSoft SkillsDependabilityStrong work ethicWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in New Oxford, Pennsylvania.Work EnvironmentThis is a food manufacturing facility where strict Safe Quality Foods Manufacturing Policies and GMPs must be followed. The facility is clean and climate-controlled in most areas, with temperatures ranging from 36 to 86 degrees. Candidates must be comfortable working in extreme temperatures. Employees will work closely on assembly lines with colleagues from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and personalities. A strict dress code must be adhered to, including no acrylic fingernails, nail polish, jewelry (except stone-less wedding bands), or clothing with rips, holes, frays, or loose strings.
