Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionOur company uses a chemical dip system and other specialized coatings removal dipping operations to remove coatings from various metals.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload ovens and tanksProcess product through chemical dip system and other specialized coatings removal dipping operationsPackage product for shipmentComply with the benchmark processing timesRotate parts from the stripping process to the wash bay, RP, dry-off ovens, and packing areaPower wash parts and products with a 3000psi power washerLoad hand baskets and rotate parts from one basket to the otherIdentify and sort parts to download into containersReposition partsComplete wash logs, oven logs, and weight chartsOperate scalesStart burn off oven and dry-off ovenParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresEnsure the highest level of safety standardsEffectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customersMaintain general housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areasComply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company proceduresFollow WHMIS, MSDS, and all other safety training requirements and proceduresFollow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materialsFoster a positive work environmentMaintain regular and sustained attendancePerform other duties as assigned or neededEssential SkillsGeneral laborPackagingProduction1+ years of manufacturing/production experienceAbility to read and interpret documentsGreat verbal and written communication skillsAble to lift 50lbsForklift operationGeneral productionMachine operatingAdditional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of sit-down forklift experienceExperience in the coatings removal industry is a plusWhy Work Here?Enjoy working in a climate-controlled facility with flexible hours depending on the workload.
