Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated General Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a non-temperature-controlled facility, moving products, assembling for welders, and possibly operating a brake press. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift at $18.75/hr and 2nd shift at $20.10/hr (including a $1.35 premium). Training will be provided unless the candidate already has brake press experience, which is required for the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Move products and assemble them for welders.
Operate brake press (training provided unless experience is already possessed).
Work with various types of steel and metals.
Perform quality inspections, particularly for metal products.
Assemble chair seating and inspect chair seats before packaging for shipment.
Handle materials such as sheets of metal, wood, fiberglass, springs, and other assembly parts for bus and stadium seating.
Essential Skills
1+ years of manufacturing experience.
1+ years of assembly experience.
Brake press experience for 2nd shift.
Consistent attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with quality assurance and quality inspection.
Familiarity with sheet metal and micrometre usage.
General production and labor skills.
