General Production Worker - Dairy Farmers of America : Job Details

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training. Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance. Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability. Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company. Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area, Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals. Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily, Pass on information to incoming shift Other duties as assigned by supervisor- High School Diploma or equivalent- Previous manufacturing experience, preferred- Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer
