What You'll Do in This Position Work from written and verbal instructions, special and standard procedures, customer requests, work orders, equipment capabilities, and supervisory direction. Perform administrative functions such as maintain files, complete equipment maintenance and service records and fill out forms and work orders. Perform work functions such as: * Moving and arranging furniture, office equipment, escorting, and facility walkdowns * Maintaining roads and grounds, manual excavation, furniture, and cubicle storage facilities * Ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventorying material and equipment/furniture and delivering supplies, tools, materials or equipment to support Site Housing needs * Driving light vehicles, transporting furniture and supplies * Light maintenance work, including training on specific tasks, where necessary Other duties as assigned by supervision. NOTE: This position is primarily a laborer position. It may require working in all extremes of weather, long periods of manual labor and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds routinely. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Clearance Required to Perform Job L Qualifications We Require High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential Other Qualifications Will require valid state driver's license. Enrolled (or able to become enrolled to include physical) in Site DOT Program to drive 26' box truck. Hazardous Energy Control (HEC) certified (or able to gain SRS HEC certification). Mechanically inclined and ability to effectively utilize hand tools to assemble and disassemble cubicles, modular system and freestanding furniture. Knowledge/experience working with different types of modular system furniture and cubicles. Ability to lift 50 pounds, to include loading and unloading of freestanding and modular system furniture and cubicles. Ability to obtain and maintain a L level security clearance.
