Position OverviewThis requisition is for Contractor Conversion purposes.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Technician:Prepare weld area appropriately to result in good weld penetration and meets structural integrity criteriaCollaborate with peers to accomplish projects or tasksDevelop and maintain relationships with peers and customersParticipate in group discussions and meetingsPerform checks on product and processEnsure material integrity by routine inspection by following established procedures and quality processes and specificationsEnsure piece and work output meets specificationsSort and separate defective materials and partsAssemble/disassemble and fasten/unfasten parts larger than hand using tools; fit, bolt, weld, cut or otherwise connect components and equipment according to specificationsAssemble/disassemble small parts not requiring precision alignment or small tolerancesAssemble/disassemble small parts requiring precision alignment and small tolerancesPerforms any other assigned taskProcess Technician Pre-Paint:Prepare paint area appropriately to result in good paint application that meets paint specification criteriaPaint components using appropriate spray techniquesKnowledgeable on how to adjust the spray equipmentPrep the bus to mask the areas that they will paintKnowledgeable of proper spray techniquesMix paints and work with solventsIdentify paint defectsMaintain their equipmentKnowledgeable on basic safety precautions when handling paints/solventsPerform tasks in full gear of painter's personal protective equipment (PPE)Perform any other assigned tasksMinimum RequirementsNoneAdditional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
