Ensures the work areas are properly supplied for the next shift in order to minimize downtime. Performs housekeeping duties throughout the shift. Removes and processes damaged merchandise and returns stray cases to the correct pick slots in order to assist Order Fillers in maintaining quality standards. Breaks down master cases in FDS pack and loads cardboard in required time frame. Flips cases so that the barcode is showing properly before being scanned in order to improve sorter efficiency. Completes daily P. I. T. checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defect to management and/or maintenance. Operates P. I. T. equipment in a safe manner. Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety. Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Bulk department.
