Desired Skills & Experience

• PMJ Certification
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift (6-person rotation) - includes nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
• Expected to submit real-time and day-ahead energy bids and offers on behalf of clients
• Ability to actively monitor and control the operating of wind turbines, hydroelectric plants, solar sites, and battery storage facilities, along with related components
• Ability to effectively maintain an operations log
• Experience monitoring GE, Siemens, PI or other Generation SCADA/EMS Systems
• Experience demonstrating basic skills using computer applications (ex. email, Internet, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Two year college degree in Electrical Technology, Finance/Economics, and/or other engineering-related degree, or equivalent experience (includes former military nuclear and fueling operations)

Job Description:

One of our energy clients is hiring for a Generation Operator. Their 24-hour Market Operations Center (MOC) provides real-time monitoring and control center services remotely from our Center City Philadelphia offices. The MOC manages over 380 power generation assets across the U.S., including hydro, wind, solar, energy storage, natural gas, and other traditional fossil fuel sources.

Compensation:

$80,000- $100,000/year

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
