Generator Technician - Synerfac : Job Details

Our power generation client is looking for a Generator Technician to join the team in the Johnson City, TN area. Candidates may reside in or around Johnson City, TN, Kingsport, TN or surrounding areas. This will be a remote role, you will dispatch from your home to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial generator sets and electrical equipment. Other responsibilities Include:-Preventative maintenance services-Troubleshooting of Automatic Transfer Switches , AC, AD circuits, diesel/gas engines, injection systems, ignition components and more -Following manufactures warranty guidelines -Perform start ups on new generator systems-Change oil and filters-Ensure units are in proper operating conditions and follow code requirements -Work in teams with other techniciansJob RequirementsRequirements:-3 years of power generation experience OR a mechanical or electrical background coupled with at least 1 year of experience in power generation - Switchgear experience -High diploma required -Military background encouraged -Must have a valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record-Demonstrated excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, reflecting strong communication and problem-solving abilities
