Geographic Information Systems Coordinator - PTR Global : Job Details

Job Description:

• Provide supports to Mapping/GIS supervisor overseeing Mapping personnel in collecting and inputting mapping data into the GIS system.

Job Duties:

• Assist supervisor in training, monitoring, and developing personnel
• Review, approve, and post projects in the mapping system
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the backlog database
• Generate and update various reports for tracking performance
• Assist supervisor and ensure department goals are met

Position Requirements (Required Skills):

• Associate degree in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Automated Mapping GIS is a plus
• 2 years of mapping, engineering, or GIS experience
• Knowledge of mapping systems
• Strong computer skills

Pay Range: $22 - $27 Hourly

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
