Job Title: Geology, FT Faculty

Job Classification: CFS-Professorial (equivalent of tenure track)

Start date of this position: August 25, 2025

Required Degree: Ph.D.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Previous university teaching experience and a strong publication record is a plus

Duties/Expectations: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their field of expertise as well as undergraduate geology courses as assigned. Implementation of a vigorous, externally-funded research program is expected, as is regular publication in top-tier journals. This position will require working with students and alumni, serving on various committees and councils, attendance at meetings and other duties as needed.
