Job Title: Registered Nurse Level 3 - Operating Room Job Specialty: Acute Care - OR Nurse Job Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 4x9.0 Hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Plus 1 Hour Response Time Experience: 2 Years in Operating Room License: RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, STROKE Must-Have: OR Circulator Experience Job Description: - Circulate multiple service lines, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.- Adapt to service lines involving total joints, trauma, sports medicine, laparoscopic procedures, and various specialized surgeries.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, provide, and assess patient care.- Educate patients and families on self-care and post-hospitalization recovery.- Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population across various age groups.- Foster trust, respect, and cooperation among team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.- Support a healing environment through active listening and tailored communication.- Leverage unique equipment in each service line, with a willingness to cross-train.- Provide emergency response and on-call services as required.- Embrace opportunities for professional development and quality improvement in nursing practice.- Emphasize infection prevention strategies and safe patient care practices.
