Limestone University invites applications for the full-time position of Gift Processor.

Position Summary: The Gift Processor's main responsibilities include accurately recording and processing donations to support the institution's fundraising efforts, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and efficiency in financial transactions. Additionally, they will manage donor database records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information to support effective donor stewardship and communication strategies in collaboration with various teams across the University. The role will support most data collection and analytics processes, as well as reporting needs in partnership with the Director of Advancement Services. This position is full-time on-campus in Gaffney, SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage and ensure integrity of the Raisers Edge NXT database

* Maintain and adhere to set policy and procedures for data entry and database use

* Update and create new constituent records

* Create new events and registration forms

* Manage email queues and registration statuses

* Maintain event attendance lists/RSVP responses from online forms in event module

* Gift management

* Enter gifts via batches or one-off from donors on a regular basis

* Generate tax receipts and acknowledgement letters within 48 hours of gift

* Continuously adhere to gift acceptance policies and procedures

* Audit and reconcile monthly giving with University Business Office

* Generate reports concerning giving by constituents and statistics on constituents, as well as giving and fund performance

* Membership management and stewardship activities

* Generate reports and maintain accurate lists for giving societies and memberships

* Assist in ensuring donors are properly acknowledged for their giving membership level(s): annual giving, lifetime giving, planned giving and Saints Club, in partnership with Athletics

* Assist in sending out cards and membership items (ex., pins, decals, giveaways, etc.)

* Update all donor database records with proper coding in tandem with these procedures in a timely manner and cross-check quarterly for changes

* Generate traditional and email mailing lists for alumni events, solicitations, questionnaires, and general communication pieces for faculty/staff across campus

* Assist with Fiscal year end reports and database clean-up

* Analyze open pledges and lapsed recurring gifts

* Prepare statistics on the previous year for all constituents

* Engage in professional growth opportunities

* Continuously improve the quality of alumnae/I and donor data

* Advise on proper procedures ensuring accurate recording of gifts

* Ensure compliance with fundraising policies, goals and procedures

* Selects and prepares data for solicitations, pledge reminders, generates and tracks responses to pledge reminders and solicitations.

* Design, write and edit reports that help facilitate the achievement and analysis of all fundraising and constituent relations goals.

* Serve as a main point of contact/leader for the annual Saintsgiving Day of Giving reporting and gift processing

* Assist with major events

* Other duties as assigned

* Communications: Speaks clearly and effectively to alumni, trustees, friends and all constituents.

* Written Communication: Writes clearly, timely and effectively both within the college and outside correspondence.

* Customer Service: Responds quickly and effectively to all constituent's questions and concerns. Investigates solutions to problems and responds quickly to the concerned party. Is prudent in responding to telephone calls, emails, and other types of correspondence.

* Technology: Feels comfortable in donor database management and analytics. Can explore connectivity between various tools and can understand how to improve the donor experience using these.

Education and/or Experience:

* A Bachelor's degree is required from a regionally accredited college or university. Raisers Edge experience required. 3 years of experience, preferably within an Advancement department.

Computer Skills:

* To perform the position effectively and successfully should have knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Raisers Edge and be able to perform tasks in Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software and coach team members on best practices.
