Gift Shop Assistant - UW Health : Job Details

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time, 50% FTE position. Scheduled 4-6 hour shifts, Monday through Friday starting at 8:30am. 1-2 Saturdays a month from 10:30am - 3:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Gift Shop Assistant to:

• Provide quality customer service and ensure a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors at the University Hospital and the American Family Children's Hospital gift shops.
• Provide support to the service and fundraising goals of the shop.
• Assist the Supervisor in purchasing related tasks and decisions for the University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital gift shops

Education:

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Technical degree or post high school education

Work Experience:

Minimum - One year of retail experience

Preferred - Experience in ordering, receiving, pricing, and inventory of products.
