The Gifts Officer manages the Gifts Program, a mid-level giving initiative for donors contributing $5,000–$10,000 annually. This role is focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with individual donors, while developing strategies to grow the program. The officer is responsible for managing event strategies and program activities designed to engage donors and enhance their connection to the museum.
In addition to overseeing the Jade program, the Gifts Officer drives direct fundraising efforts by soliciting additional donations and ensuring a high level of donor action through proactive stewardship and personalized service.
The Gifts Officer represents the department on internal committees and with external groups, using independent judgment on complex tasks. They regularly interact with staff, vendors, visitors, volunteers, members, and colleagues in a respectful, personable manner.

COMPENSATION
The Asian Art Museum is committed to practicing salary transparency. The hourly range for this position is $33.6252 - 40.3847/hr. This FLSA exempt opportunity includes a generous benefits package, including but not limited to:
