As the Manager – Global Air Sourcing Analytics, you'll play a pivotal role within the Global Air Sourcing group. You will lead the Air Analytics function by designing and developing meaningful dashboards and data visualizations, analyzing the results, and making business recommendations. You will be the subject matter expert for PowerBI on the team by ensuring data integrity and functionality of new and existing dashboards and be the main point of contact with questions related to PowerBI functionality and error resolution. You will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Team in developing the strategy and implementing those strategies with airlines and GDS partners. You will lead all Global Air Sourcing efforts and projects related to IT, data and systems, and automation, by collaborating closely with IT and other relevant stakeholders.Essential Functions:Design and develop meaningful dashboards and data visualizations by importing data from multiple data sources to support the strategic sourcing efforts of the Global Air Sourcing team. Write ad-hoc queries in SQL to obtain the required data from underlying tables.Ensure data integrity and functionality of new and existing PowerBI dashboards and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Global Air Sourcing team and brands with questions related to PowerBI functionality and error resolution.Lead all Global Air Sourcing efforts and projects related to IT, data and systems, and automation, by collaborating closely with IT and other relevant stakeholders.Support the Global Air Sourcing Team with ad-hoc data analytics and other projects as needed.Dive into dashboards, reports, data, and trends to uncover opportunities and identify trends that can shape negotiation strategies, developing actionable recommendations for the Manager – Global Air Sourcing and the Director – Global Air Sourcing by providing analytics and insights.Partner with IT to identify and implement improved analytic tools and data structures, as well as manage efforts related to the development, maintenance (including researching and resolving issues), accuracy, and hygiene of air data.Qualifications:Education: Master's degree preferred, with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.Years & Area of Professional Experience: 5-8 years of experience working with advanced analytics. Strong commercial acumen and PowerBI knowledge required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. Highly driven and self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Air industry experience is strongly preferred; strategic sourcing and cruise line experience is a plus. Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with strong expertise in Excel and Power BI, is required. Expertise in Oracle SQL and Oracle SQL Developer (including SSRS and TSQL) is required, providing this person the ability to browse database objects, run SQL statements, edit and debug PL/SQL statements and run reports. Expertise in ETL Tools, Power Query, MDX, and DAX is required. GDS (Sabre / Amadeus) knowledge and experience is a plus.Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely.Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.This position is classified as 'in-office.' As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida from Tuesday through Thursday. Employees may work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some positions may require additional in-office time each week and the final schedule is determined by your leader. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft.
