Arthrex is actively searching for a Global Content Specialist to join the Medical Education Technology team. The successful candidate will work alongside a department of expert orthopedic healthcare professionals, world class faculty, and product management.

Main Objective:

As a Global Content Specialist within Medical Education Technology (MedEd Tech), you will operationalize a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our mission of advancing musculoskeletal education on a global scale. As a vital member of MedEd Tech's Content Management and Distribution team, you will curate, optimize, and manage educational content that not only meets the highest standards of accuracy and relevance but also addresses the unique needs of diverse healthcare professionals and learners worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Global Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive global content strategy via:
    • Engagement with regional stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand overarching business goals and specific regional requirements, and
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify content requirements for various regions.

Content Management:

  • Serve as an administrator of Arthrex's Content Management Systems (CMS and LMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) repository, ensuring accurate and timely content updates.
  • Catalog and distribute content across MedEd Tech's learning management platforms, especially addressing requirements associated with localized language content management.
  • Train and support global contributors on CMS best practices.

Content Optimization:

  • Support the oversight of creation and curation of high-quality, accurate, and engaging content for diverse audiences, ensuring that it meets educational objectives and adheres to industry standards.
  • Work closely with medical professionals, educators, and instructional designers to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Project Management:

  • Experience with project management, participate in complex projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Support the coordination of translation projects associated with MedEd's digital educational assets.

Global Collaboration:

  • Work closely with regional teams to gather insights into local content needs and cultural nuances.
  • Support collaboration and knowledge-sharing among global content contributors.
  • Communicate regularly with global stakeholders, providing updates on content initiatives, performance metrics, and any relevant industry insights.
  • Actively seek and integrate feedback from stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of global content strategies.

Knowledge/Skills:

Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in at least one additional language is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in different time zones.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate meeting with global partners in different time zones is required.

General:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Experience with metadata field types, content modeling, and taxonomy structured required.
  • Experience in global content management preferred, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Detail oriented with organization and project management skills preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive work environment.
  • Ability to effectively lead small and medium-scale projects.

Technical:

  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (i.e., Intellum, Kaltura).
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management Systems.
  • Experience with Video Editing Software (i.e., Adobe Premiere Pro) is required.
  • Experience with coding languages such as JSON, HTML, CSS is preferred.
  • Experience with SEO best practices

Education and Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. In a related field required
  • 2 years of related experience required
