We are now seeking a Global Head of Marketing who can implement Zero Petroleum's global marketing strategy to generate revenue streams and build a global brand. The goal is to ensure Zero's marketing efforts are successful in helping Zero to be the preferred partner, developer, and supplier of synthetic fuels.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the CSMO ensuring the Executive Team's vision is operationalized.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support Zero's overall strategies and objectives domestically and internationally.
- Develop revenue generating channels in preferred sectors such as Automotive.
- Work with the Commercial Directors to support their revenue generating objectives through developing effective marketing strategies.
- “Listen” to the trends of the market to identify and communicate opportunities for Zero.
- Develop a marketing plan for Zero and manage its day-to-day implementation.
- Plan and organize marketing operations (product development, branding, communications, etc.), to ensure they project Zero's unique “voice.”
- Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press, etc.).
- Ensure social media channels and website are up to date and utilized to full effect to support Zero's growth targets.
- Manage and enhance relationships with sponsorship partners, agencies, events companies, etc.
- Create a solid network of strategic partnerships that deliver value.
- Manage and develop the marketing team to ensure team members are engaged and delivering high quality work.
- Ensure brand guidelines are implemented consistently both externally and internally through creation of templates and other brand/marketing assets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a marketing director or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.).
- Experience in establishing a “challenger” global brand.
- Experience of working in a pre-revenue scale-up organization.
- Knowledge and understanding of trends in sustainable fuel and particularly aviation/automotive/transport generally.
- Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels.
- Content creation and website design experience.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and SEO to effectively lead digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively lead Zero's marketing operations.
- Excellent analytical skills to effectively analyze market trends and competitors.
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinking to devise innovative marketing campaigns.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM).
- Ability to build collaborative and productive relationships across teams within the organization.
- Ability to develop strategies and presentations/PR for investor relations and funding rounds.
Preferred Skills
- Strong financial skills to effectively review financial forecasts and set targets.
- Managing marketing projects with external agencies.
