We are hiring a **Global Laboratory & Test Development Leader**

This role is to develop a global lab network that will characterize LPM products at the material/component level, develop test fixtures and methodologies for key customers/market segments, develop reliability methodologies and models, and develop an integrated global database that allows test data/analysis to be available anywhere at any time.

**Your Key Responsibilities:**

+ Develop and execute global strategy to characterize and test LPM products from concept to manufacturing release and assist in designing in our products with our customers through data/analyses.

+ Identify & develop characterization & test team comprised of recruits (direct team members), internal partners with operations, technology and field applications, and external partners, as necessary.

+ Materials & component characterization capabilities - Develop expertise to support global R&D teams to characterize various parameters of polymer-based products such as thermal resistance, viscosity/elongation, etc. over various conditions.

+ Applications test method & hardware development - work with internal and external customers to verify & validate LPM products for application specific use.

+ Reliability test method & hardware development - work with internal and external customers to verify & validate LPM products for reliability. Also, develop predictive reliability models through various accelerated/other test development.

+ Develop dashboard to measure progress of establishing above 3 areas of test/characterization and day-to-day operational metrics.

+ Identify & develop further ways to improve cycles of learning through fast & accurate test/characterization data & analysis.

+ Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet test/characterization requirements.

+ Simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple programs in development.

+ Data management

+ As characterization/test capabilities grow how to manage the resulting data & analyses in a way that is searchable, accessible, and usable for various audiences is a critical part of this position.

+ Must work with various internal functions including product mgmt., IT, etc. to create & maintain a global database to enable the immediate access to needed data/analyses anywhere & anytime globally.

+ Must be able to establish key industry/customer relationships to grow common & unique test solutions for key applications like AI/datacenter, Auto, etc.

+ Participate and lead in appropriate standards committees and industry consortia to promote DuPont as leaders in EMI/thermal applications by presenting thought leadership papers, developing new industry test standards, and authoring patents/trade secrets.

+ Strategically orchestrate technical papers, tradeshows, online presence to leverage our test/characterization solutions.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and/or Materials). Masters/PhD preferred.

+ Experience/knowledge in materials/component characterization or test development preferred.

+ 15+ total years' experience in technical function - test/characterization, applications, R&D, etc.

+ 3-5 years' experience with component level or subsystem level design experience

+ Experience with thermal management and implementation of thermal solutions us a plus

+ Expert in at least one technical arena - materials characterization (thermal resistance, etc.), test development, reliability, and/or data management

+ Combination of strategic (global scale) and tactical ( get it done today attitude) skills.

+ Excellent time management skills.

+ Ability to analyze problems based on first principles.

+ Exhibit understanding of the cross-functional relationships between inter-company groups and the expertise required to take a product through development and on to production.

+ Good communication skills, both oral and written.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Ability/experience to interact with OEM design teams at component & subsystem level.

+ Some combination of Thermal, EM, mechanical, and materials experience preferred.
