POSITION: Contract Global Payroll Associate – HR Operations

COMPENSATION: $75-90 per hour Depending on Experience

LOCATION: New York, NY (4/1 Hybrid)

BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Required

EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years of payroll experience required – Preferably global and preferably from financial institutions

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Own payroll administration, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting issues.

Oversee and process bonus payouts for UK, Australia, and India ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.

Collaborate with HR, finance, and external partners to resolve payroll discrepancies and streamline processes.

Prepare and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

Assist in the tax year-end processes.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international payroll regulations and best practices.

Support audits and compliance reviews related to payroll processes.

Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.

Participate in special projects related to payroll optimization and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on global payroll management.

Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions.

Experience managing bonus structures and calculations.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related software.
