Actively engage with respective leaders (BU, Market, SET, etc.) and ensure Pricing coverage for deal pursuits Partner and support market and service line presidents to support their P&L goals Chair BU/Country deal governance and review boards and represent Global Pricing in Corporate Council Direct the financial structuring and analysis of deals while meeting Cognizant's business objectives Lead the deal teams throughout the sales cycle in analyzing and making recommendations regarding deal-specific financial strategies and solutions. Actively engage in deal shaping, formulating a winning sales strategy Support client negotiations of financial/commercial terms to enable Cognizant to sign a contract capable of delivering the approved returns, whilst at the same time addressing customer business drivers Function in an objective manner to ensure the integrity of the responsibilities of the position, liaising with FP&A, Tax, technical accounting, and other areas as required Compile & maintain work products/aids used to report out KPIs, progress, metrics to Leadership and other stakeholders Validate commercial/financial Terms and Conditions to evaluate and track risk to revenue and margins Drive use of standardized tools and methodologies Ensure best practices are consistently used Lead a team of pricers and balance workload/deliverables across MU/BU/Country Lead, advise, and develop direct reports and create an environment that attracts top performers Develop and promote pricing strategies and initiatives ensuring overall pricing strategy aligns with business objectives Ensure internal customer satisfaction with the performance of the pricing team Challenge objectives while being sensitive to needs Ensure that overall pricing strategy aligns with business needs and imperativesEXPERIENCE Previous experience in finance, pricing in the technology industry 10-12 years of experience in pricing/finance and should have worked on pricing deals for some period Candidate should have good business acumen and should be able to interact with multiple stakeholders from various units Ability to deal with ambiguity and should have good leadership, negotiation & presentation skills Should have a good understanding of finance functional areas impacting revenue recognition, pricing, Terms & Conditions of contracts People management skills including coaching, mentoring, and guiding associates in career development plans Manage workload for the team members to ensure they deliver the work of the highest quality and follow all the processes laid out by the Global Pricing organization Good understanding of Excel and related tools to provide effective support to large and strategic transactions Experience of having interacted with clients in presenting commercial propositions and negotiating contractual terms and conditions will be an added advantage Previous experience in finance, sales support, and price to win in the technology industry is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
