The Global Pricing Systems Manager will develop & maintain global pricing processes as well as systems and tools to support timely, targeted and optimized price decision making and execution. This role is responsible for coordination and communication related to price adjustments internally and externally, as well as training for business units and stakeholders globally. Job Duties:
- Develop & maintain global pricing systems processes
- Serve as primary point of contact for the Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP, core team for all pricing-related functions.
- Coordinate and oversee daily tasks related to additions and changes of products pricing and updating of global sales price lists.
- Oversee annual (or semi-annual) price adjustment processes for all catalog and custom products. Includes price and cost extraction for review at Business Unit level and uploading updates into ERP.
- Coordinate annual deal-per-part review and maintenance prior to customer price list dissemination.
- Coordinate distribution of annual customer price lists to OEMs & relevant customers globally.
- Create and maintain SOP's/work instructions for critical pricing processes and tasks.
- Serve as a back-up to specialists for daily pricing tasks.
- Develop queries and routines to ensure part and pricing accuracy within the ERP
Qualifications: Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in science or business, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years experience with pricing systems with an international scientific company, preferably experience with consumable products.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong data analytics (Excel and/or Access, IFS)
- Exceptional relationship building skills cross functionally
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to work well in a team based environment and maintain good relations with customers
- Ability to work independently and achieve objectives
